OMG,finally I get some info about this thing.I hope I'll manage to travel to Paris since I'm not from France. This thing is free right?U don't need tickets for it right?
Anyone else from outside of France who plans on going?
Man,I'm so excited

*raises hand* Dutchie here flying to France and England for the HWT xD

For as far as we know, fan events are free of charge. In the worst case Fnac can obligate you to buy the single to the TV-song or something before you can get something signed.

it would also be interesting(and quite important) to know what one should do to guarantee his/her entry(as in how big that place is and if one should come to the store a lot earlier and wait).Well, what can I say,it's the first time I'm going to something like this (I blame Jack and Hayden for my sudden desire to spend all my savings).
Zarinacanadian_turtle on August 6th, 2007 10:50 am (UTC)
Things like that are extremely hard to tell beforehand unfortunately. We don't kow how many people will attend (even though we try to indicate it in this community our list will only affect LJ-ers). You should always try to come a few hours in advance, but guarantee as to whether it will be really busy or not you'll never get.

As for how many people will 'fit' in the store. If it's 'only' a signing line-up will most likely be outside and small groups of people will be let in at the same time. So even if the queue is longer than what one would expect to fit into the store (I have no idea if the store is small or not) that doesn't mean you won't get in ;)

if all goes well tomorrow I'll book the plane tickets and the hotel YEEEY so yesterday I got a little more excited (if that's even possible)and read a forum (I think from heroes-france.com site or something like that). It was all in french and I don't speak french but I've managed to understand(or think I understand) some stuff like standing in line for up to 10 hours or more and something about not being able to take pictures from close or with them or something(I think when u reach the actors at the signing).So..ah..this freaked me out a bit because ,sure,I am prepared for a disappointment but if I make it I want pictures 'cause I'm paying a lot of money :D.

Anything new? I see there's nothing about the 29 yet.
Oh and another questions(yes,I know, long post ,sorry) : can u buy Heroes related stuff from Paris 'cause I can't buy them here and my credit card expired last month without a warning?
Zarina: Zach || NBC All Star Partycanadian_turtle on August 12th, 2007 07:09 pm (UTC)
My co-maintainer is French and a regular on Heroes-France. While I browse it and understand only half she knows what's going on. Some people freaked out and said they were gonna go wait in line for 10 hours, then the mods told them not to do that. I am sure there'll be a few people who go long in advance, but not the entire board ;)

Every bit of info we have is listed.

There's plenty of magazines with Heroes stuff in France, but it is in French...

I hope our hotel will be close to the store. I only know the hotel's name is Campanile, but I don't know where it is or wich district is it in.

Hi,

Does anyone how to get here from Paris airport? Or how long it will take?

Thank you.

MiloFan
Zarinacanadian_turtle on August 24th, 2007 12:34 pm (UTC)
There's several airports, so you'd first have to know which one you're travelling from. There's a link with a route in the post above and you can also use Google maps for an accurate description.
milofan007 on August 24th, 2007 12:43 pm (UTC)
Thanks for the fast responce. I'm travelling from Paris airport. Are there more than one airport in Paris? I'll try and see if I can find help on Google, thanks.
Zarinacanadian_turtle on August 24th, 2007 12:45 pm (UTC)
Yup, I think there are two or three airports. Good luck!

So what did you think?
So I am back home again. I hate flying! Took to early flight to Paris and I was at the Fnac around 11am. But by then the que was already closed. I think it totally #¤%!¤& that they did that. I don't understand why only 100 ppl could come in. Weren't they supposed to sign for 2 hours? I also thought they could have arranged the crowd better. They kept moving us from one place to another all the time.
But I did meet Milo and took pictures with him so I am in Heaven! :D
Adaentity22 on August 31st, 2007 11:31 pm (UTC)
yeah,I had the same problem.I got to the store at 12:00 ('cause my my mom ,who decided she wanted to join me in Paris 'cause she wanted to visit it, told me 6 hours should be more than enough and I actually listened to her 'cause I'm stupid)and the queue was closed and I felt like s*** and still waited in the street .I got to see them but the stupid security sucked .But now I learned my lesson and the next time (if there will ever be a next time *cries*)Jack Coleman comes to Europe I'll be there :D. OMG,aren't they all so much prettier in real life(how is that even possible )
Laura: 3thesamegirl17 on September 1st, 2007 02:19 pm (UTC)
Same here! When I arrived and the queue was closed I was so sad ç_ç I waited until the end of the event, but I didn't see a lot.
